I need to know about WordPress MU, Thesis from DIY Themes

  • 1. Does Thesis for WordPress work with most of the plugins available for WordPress?

    2. Does WordPress MU (multiple user) require hosting?

    Is WordPress MU an extension of WordPress.com (meaning hosted free [by WordPress]– with your blog subsequently not hosted independently) or www.ads-software.com
    (where the blog publishers “owns” the domain and thus totally controls the site/blog)?

    3. If WordPress MU CAN be hosted (outside of WordPress)…what host providers are most compatible?

  • 1. Yes, Thesis is supported well and is always up-to-date.

    2. Not sure but if you’re serious about your site, you’ll want www.ads-software.com and not wordpress.com anyway. The small investment is well worth it.

    3. I personally use GoDaddy and love their customer service. They can actually walk you through the entire process if you’ve not tech savvy.
