    Because product filtering has to integrate properly with your ecommerce plugin’s product schema, I recommend asking through your ecommerce plugin’s dedicated support channel for suggestions.

    It’ll help if you accurately describe what you’re looking for. I don’t see how the filtering at macys.com “make the user pick multiple products”. Filtering by its nature displays multiple products matching the filter criteria, but it would never make a user select multiple products. Your description doesn’t make sense to me. It’s not necessary for me to understand, but your ecommerce plugin’s support staff will need to understand.
