I need to reinstall .htaccess file

Since visitors to my site at blogpeoria.com are getting a binary file download attempt when they visit my site, my server company suggests I upload a new version of my .htaccess file.

I downloaded a new installation and extracted, but no .htaccess file is found.

How do i go about fixing this situation?
