Would this be from within the admin area of the site or the front-end pages? Do you need to do anything with the files, or just make them available for download?

I need to upload them from the admin site as pdf files and other media files into the event. Then my users can download the files from the front end.

What we need is that we can upload Gpd and Gpx files on the event page of the admin site. We do not need to change the files.
Our users should then be able to download the file to their Garmin device.

If we did not need further expansion, we would not have used wordpress and buddy press.
But after problems sharing GPS files, we may be forced to develop on the old side.
Being able to share gps files are the most important when talking motorcycle community.

sorry but you need additional coding for this to work using template file at events-manager/templates/forms/event-editor.php
