I no longer have administrator rights when logging into a wordpress install

    I’m a bit of a novice here and need a bit of advice from an expert!

    My hosting comapny informed me that I had an install hacked and had to perform a manual install with a nw database. Since then I’ve been able to login via wp-admin but do not have adminstrator rights. I’ve followed a few tips that I found on previous posts but none seem to work.

    I changed the user rights in myPhpAdmin and added a database force update into the route folder but I still do not have administrator rights.

    There’s some spam content addd to some of the pages which I’d like to remove asap. Could anyone help please?
