I only want one footer the full width of my page

  • I can see in (Appearance -> Widgets) that where are 3 footer areas, Footer Widget Area One, Two and Three. This divides my footer into 3 sections.

    What I am trying to do is put one image scroll the whole width. Currently the image shrinks to 1/3 of the width if I put it in Area One.

    How can I go about this, do I have to edit the theme/template files to achieve this?
