I haven’t the faintest idea. WHen I navigate to your site in FF, a file is attempting to download, without me clicking any links.

I’m not seeing that behaviour with FF 1.5.0.2.

The Web Polls thingy links to an .aspx file, but it didn’t try to do anything. You’re not using Fasterfox, or some such thing, are you?

I am using Fasterfox, not sure why, as I just got a bump from my cable co to 10Mbps.

Why would that auto download?

Fasterfox tries to pull in every link it sees (it got me blocked from some sites before I realised what was doing it). Could be that the link to the aspx page got it confused, or the server didn’t like the way it asked…

Looks like a similar phenomenon to some people getting the prompt to download .php files when going to some WP sites.

Ah. I’ve seen that in the forums recently regarding the download a file when hitting save. Good to know as a troubleshooting tip, thanks Les.
