@odicity I see some logs in that thread, but I don’t think any of that information could be used maliciously. Can you elaborate on what are you referring to when you say “vital information”?

Ok firstly it is a search on the name of of the site brings up those posts which is not nice. Also, every one knows the cms I used and it makes me prone to trials of attacks.

@odicity You can edit your post up to 1 hour after originally creating it. After that, only forum moderators can edit or delete posts.

In my experience, unless it’s an extreme case where very sensitive information has been shared, topics and replies are not edited.

it is a search on the name of of the site brings up those posts which is not nice.

Search engine hits are never considered extreme and would not be a reason that qualifies for getting a post deleted.

every one knows the cms I used and it makes me prone to trials of attacks.

If it helps give any perspective to this, anyone who is savvy enough to try and launch an attack on your website, wouldn’t have trouble discerning what CMS are you using – even without finding that post from the past. So, I don’t think that post in itself puts you at additional risk.

If you do want to try, you’d need to flag the original posts for moderation.
