I reset the site but it’s still heavy (?)
-
Hi!
I’ve been trying to create my website for almost a month and days ago I noticed that as I customized the pages everything was getting slower. I decided to watch some videos about Litespeed Cache and trigger some settings as explained. I analyzed the performance and other variables ??by PageSpeed ????and Web.dev before and after, in addition to having made a 464MB backup and for some reason, the performance went down A LOT after STRICTLY following all the instructions and when I went test a new backup to see what value appeared, it had risen to 600MB.
I later received an email from Hostinger saying that I had exceeded my resource utilization plan and the site was slowing down. I updated the plan and am paying more.
However, I decided to reset all the site settings via the WP Reset Plugin to start over. All settings and pages were returned to default and I removed more than 25 plug-ins, leaving only the essentials. As expected, the performance went to 100%, but for some reason the backup rose to 952MB.
I just don’t understand anything anymore. Could anyone explain to me why the hell the site is still heavy? Heavier than it was?
Thank you!
