I restored my database, now it's broken. Help!
-
My blog is located at https://www.thekoreanmang.com.
I moved my blog to a new domain name and server and I restored all my content but I have broken links everywhere!
To provide you with a context of my problem I will explain briefly what happened. My original domain was ‘koreanmang.com’ and decided to change it to ‘thekoreanmang.com’. My hosting company updated the DNS and moved all the files and database information to a new server without telling me. But the original files and database info was all there. So I backed up my ‘wp-content’ files and backed up my database according to the WordPress Codex guide.
I installed a fresh wordpress installation and went through the steps of restoring my theme, plugins, and database info. The content, posts, etc. were all restored successfully but now I’m having a problem with different parts of the blog. I also went into my database and into the ‘wp_options’ variable to update the old domain address to the new one but am not sure if there are other fields I need to update to the new doamin.
Did I miss any other steps when restoring my database and theme/plugins?
1) the ‘about’ and ‘contact’ links at the top of the page don’t work. how do I fix these links?
2) when I click on the category or tags links, they don’t work.
3) when I go to leave a comment, it doesn’t work. the page is broken and just takes me to a blank page.
4) if you look at an individual post or the posts on the main page, you’ll see that at the bottom of each post are the ‘categories’ and ‘tags’ the post is filed under. I would like to add a ‘view count’ next to these categories. on the main page, the ‘view count’ would show the view count for each of those posts, not the main page obviously. and on each individual post, the view count would show for that page. an example of this can be seen on https://www.hypebeast.com. if you click on a post, you will see at the bottom of the post there is a ‘view counter’ next to their ‘category’ and ‘tag’ sections.
Much thanks for helping out! This is my first wordpress blog and I am learning much of this on the fly.
