• Hi –

I made a couple changes and saved them, but they’re not appearing on my site. I thought it might have been the template (Arcade basic) but when I tried different templates the same thing happened. So I think it’s an issue w WordPress

I took the advice I read on this forum about clearing WP cache plugins and clearing my browser cache (Chrome) – but those didn’t work.

I”m tempted to upgrade to WP 4.0 but don’t want to rock the boat. Any ideas? Thx!!

  • If you go back and look at your page where you made the edits are they still there in the admin?

Yep. I tried re-doing and undoing the changes Also logged out and re-started my computer. ugh!

I’m hoping this is one of those passing bugs.

When I checked my updates this appeared on the top of the page:

Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home4/scuba917/public_html/wp-includes/update.php on line 295

I’m thinking this might have something to do with it? Thing is, I have no idea where I can find this line of code

If they are there, then it is probably just a caching thing. Did you disable your WP Cache plugin?

What is a link to a page you modified that is not showing the change?

Did you try and view the page on a different browser?

I did disable the WP cache, also went through my plug-ins and deactivate the ones i’m not using.

I did view in Safari and the same thing,

    Here’s the URL

    The changes I made were
    (a) to get rid of the ‘Follow Me on Twitter” page on the top (after i went to “Pages” and deleted it), and

    (2) the “Hey everyone….” verbage below the header.

Thanks so much for your help!

I have been having the same issue now since the last WP update – I have reverted to just deleting the page and re-publishing new page. I can reedit only if saved as draft, but once published no longer able to edit

are you saying you’re unable to edit after every time you publish it?

What template have you been using?

    I haven’t downloaded the latest WP version…afraid to…

I actually just figured it out!

The page I deleted – I also had to go to the Menu settings and delete it there, too.

As for the copy, I was changing it under Users > My Profile, but instead I found out I was able to change it under “Customize” > “Jumbo Header” (for the Arcade template).

Thanks for the tips…have a good night

yes – once I click publish I can no longer edit content of the page – in order to edit I have to delete page and create new page with updated content – I use GoDaddy Bold Strip – have been using it for over a yr now with no issues. I only just started having issues last week after updating

    currently using WordPress version: 3.9.2
