    Hi marcodedo. That’s strange. did you tried it while disabling all other plugins first? It looks like an other plugin is interfering. If so let me know which plugin it is.

    I just upgraded to version 4.4 but the problem remains …
    Perhaps, it could be Easy Digital Downloads?

    It is precisely Easy Digital Downloads (EDD) plugin. To disable receiving email for the administrator, use this action in functions.php:

    remove_action (‘edd_insert_user’, ‘edd_new_user_notification’, 10, 2);
