I still see my old website, and not wordpress

I really want to replace my current website with a wordpress site. I am far from a programmer or anything, but I am still hoping that I can manage this. So far, no results ??

So I set up wordpress through my host provider. I even added a template that I purchased, and everything seemed smooth. My wordpress site has the same url as my previous site, and the old one still shows up. I cannot figure out how to bring up the wordpress site.
