I suggest to add hidding usernames feature to Wordfence

  • Are you using “Prevent discovery of usernames through ‘/?author=N’ scans” which does that? There are other ways to harvest that information, not all easily blockable. I believe sometimes themes use different variables that we can’t possibly anticipate and proactively block. Are you using different display names and user logins? That’s one that many people forget to change.

    Tim, I’m really sorry – I missed this checkbox into Wordfence settings.
    Thank you, this option works as supposed; and I understand that other ways to harvest that details may exist.
