I think I have set my wordpress up incorrectly

Hi, can anyone help me. I started a blog on wordpress.com (www.houseoftrendella.wordpress.com) whilst my actual website was created (www.houseoftrendella.com) however, I now want the info from wordpress to go over to my new website. This seems to have worked but the search results on google are going to wordpress site not my actual site and I can’t seem to transfer it fully over? I also cannot get plug – ins and someone has told me this is because i am using wordpress.com and not .org with my own domain name.
Can anyone shed some light on how I would go forward with resolving this issue? Can I change my current blog to .org?
