I think it was a sneaky trick.

I had the same issue that the previous person commented on. We downloaded the pixel free version and then used it. It worked perfectly. When we got the update notice that there was something to update

we did and all of the sudden the theme stopped working. Nothing to tell us that the free version was going to upgrade to a version that id not allow us to use our own logo.

That is a very low trick to force someone to pay and it is not very ethical either. I would absolutely not recommend this company even though their themes may be good because they lack ethics and should not b e featured on wordpress.
