I think the advanced blocking (IP range) isn't working? (Help!)

  • I blocked a range of IPs, and it said the last attempt was 4 days ago. However, upon checking my stat counter, an IP within that range was on the site just a few minutes ago. How do I know the blocking is really working? Is there any extra step that can almost guarantee the block to work?

    UPDATE: I just checked my list of blocked IPs, and noticed one of the IPs that is in the advanced blocking IP range is also on the normal blocked IP list… can this cause a conflict?

    no that should not cause a conflict. What stat counter are you using?
