I updated to 6.1.28 and lost all links

    Been using Link Library successfully for five years

    Ever since I upgraded today to:

    WordPress version 5.0.3
    Link Library Version 6.1.28 | By Yannick Lefebvre

    I have no All Links in Link Library

    What happened?

    What do I do now?

    How do I get them back now?

    Hi John. Sorry for the late response. All is not lost. go to the Global Options section under the Link Library menu and press the Re-import Links button. That should bring your links back. If you get them back in the admin but not on the site, you may need to update shortcodes to reflect new category IDs.

    Let me know if you get your site back to a working state and sorry for the trouble.

    Glad to hear that you are back up and running. This was a one-time big upgrade step as Link Library migrated from the legacy links tables to custom post types. Future upgrades should be seamless.
