i upgraded my wordpress installation

    i upgraded my wordpress installation through wordpress dashboard which failed

    now the situation is that
    1) the wordpress website is opening fine

    2 the login prompt at wp-admin is visible

    3) if you put in incorrect username/password the screen echos that the username password is incorrect

    Problem 4) if you put in the Correct username and password then we are shown a blank page

    i have checked the wp-config file, it doesn’t have a space as is suggested by many websites on the web

    please recommend
