• Recently, all my new websites are unable to connect with the central dashboard. I have 110 websites under management and only 65 of them can connect to the dashboard. It is super frustrating and I’m tired of dealing with it. I will be looking for a new Firewall.

  • I certainly wish you would have reached out for help. I’ve looked and haven’t found any premium tickets or support posts you started about this issue (maybe the account is under a different name? The website in your profile . I do know that sometimes there are connection issues but most of the time it can be worked around by logging into and admin account on the site, opening a new tab and logging into your account on Wordfence.com, then trying the connection again. Even so, we can’t really fix a problem without knowing there is a problem.

I checked your account and saw 65 sites connected and only 4 sites with connection issues.

If you click on the “Complete Setup” link it should take you straight to the login page for the site. Once logged in the process completes automatically. I’m not sure if you tried adding the other 41 sites of the 110 you mentioned and had issues but then deleted them from the connection issues tab.

Still, we respect your right to uninstall the free plugin and make the switch to another security provider. Good luck and stay safe.

Hi Tim, Thank you for your response. I have 110 websites under management, but I was not going to try to connect the remaining 40 when I couldn’t resolve the problem with the others that weren’t connecting. I do not have a premium account.

To be honest I have a WPMU account which I pay $199/yr for and had also connected Defender to all the websites. I had to disconnect Defender over the Thanksgiving holiday because it was doing something that was overwhelming the servers. So, I thought I would just connect the remaining websites to Wordfence. Unfortunately, the same process I followed before to connect was no longer working.

The cost to pay for premium version for all the websites is too much. But, I was under the impression that the free version would allow me to use the dashboard.

A free license does allow you to use Wordfence Central. That has been 100% free without any limitations whatsoever since day one. We’ve never charged for it.

Did you try the method I mentioned?

Yes, It takes me to the page, like it always has, but nothing happens. The dashboard still doesn’t connect.

Can you email me at [email protected] and mention your forum username? I’d like to ask a question so I can better help.

    Tim

I haven’t seen your email yet. Just let me know here when you send it in if you still need help. If you have decided to move on, we wish you a safe and happy holidays no matter which security provider you choose.
