    Hi All

I have created new pages but I want them to be clear
So how do I remove the r h coloums that have items such as past posts,
    Rss subscribe and search.

If I go into appearance and delete these items it removes from all pages and not just the one page.

    Thanks

    Hi
This is not helping me have tried to understand for the last half hour but just not plain and simple enough.

    Creating Your Own Page Templates
The files defining each Page Template are found in your Themes directory. To create a new Custom Page Template for a Page you must create a file. Let’s call our first Page Template for our Page snarfer.php. At the top of the snarfer.php file, put the following:

WHERE AND HOW DO I CREATE THE FILE

Appearance -> Editor. Select your current theme.

Have removed code under page php and put in snarfer.php as per instruction

Now all pages except Home page are blank. I did not want this.

I wanted to make only 1 selected new page blank not all pages

I have no header etc completely blank.
so as per original posting I wanted only the rh coloumn items removed

You can’t create a new theme file from within WordPress. You either have to login to your server account and use the console to create the file in your theme’s directory, or you can upload (e.g. via FTP) an empty file to your theme’s directory.

It would be nice if WordPress would add the capability of creating a new file within the Edit Theme page, but then, you probably should not be doing anything more than tweaking a couple of files from that page anyway!
