I want a domain without www

    My Website

    I am hosting it on Godaddy with cpanel and wordpress installed. I am using network admin with two sites and the above one is my main site.

    I have no idea why my domain is being directed to the link with www because I googled that people saying the default of wordpress is without www one and you are hard to use the domain with www. However, my default is www one.. I am confused. Should I reinstall the wordpress? Thank you.

    how about if you added a new domain to the User Portal. For more information on how to do this, please visit “Add Domain in Client Portal”.

    Is there a “www” in the addresses in your WordPress General Settings?

    Hi James,
    For Godaddy and WordPress admin, yes, I have tried to change them to without www. (change it in go daddy, phpmyadmin option) but the front end will still show the www.

    Thank you both. I have resolved it by myself. I reinstalled the whole WordPress application and found out that the Google Search Console (Perviously known as Web Master) crashed the default redirect setting of WordPress. The preferred domain setting in Search Console just does not work well with WordPress, so I would suggest leave it blank and let it follow the WordPress default.
