I want both sidebars active on my website

Hi

I really want to use both sidebars. Right now i have opted for the right sidebar under the design options. I have created a page template php file trying to create an option to have a page that can have the left sidebar without the right sidebar but it has been futile.

Any geniuses out there that can help me?
