i want no content at all in byline

  • Only some of my galleries need to have something in byline_template. Those are the ones which link to posts. I also use galleries to display images and in this case I often do not want any text there.

    in my shortcode I include
    byline_template=””
    despite this it was picking up part of the text from my cta box and putting it into every byline. only when I added captions did it stop doing this and display the captions, but actually I want no byline AT ALL. The shortcode above used to work fine for me, but now it’s stopped functioning in that way. How do I fix it?
