I want the URL to display “About” instead of page_id=2

  • Right now, when someone goes to my website, https://www.iq2.biz and clicks on the “About” page, they see this in the URL address bar…. https://www.iq2.biz/?page_id=2

    I want it to show…www.iq2.biz/about

    How do I make this happen? I can’t find the steps anywhere. And I’m not sure what “keyword” I should even type in because I don’t know what this change would be called. I would appreciate any help from anybody — thank you in advance !!

    I was looking for a solution to this also. I tried what thisisedie suggsted, but then my links didn’t work at all. I get a Page Not Found Error from both my nav bar and category links…what is the most likely cause for this?

    must turn on mod_rewrite to be achieve what thissedie suggested
