I want to change me text banner to a graphic banner

I tried to add it and the banner is taller than the space allowed so it bleeds into the post. How do I make the top are taller. If you look at the site I want to make the header that is blue, taller. Can anyone help me figure that out?

Can I get some help? How do I make my header taller. I need it to be around 140 pixels high. it is around half of that.
