I want to change the categories on my blog.

    Hi, I have 4 categories on my blog currently. I want to remove them as these are very confined topics and go for a broader one.

    I am not sure but if I delete these categories then would it cause broken links? I don’t know please let me know.

  • Hi,
    Does your posts permalinks use /category/ on URL structure?
    If doesn’t you have just be concerned about Category Archives.

    For example, you have a category “Money Making Tips” if you remove that category links like this: /category/money-making-tips/ will be broken.

    Hi, no I think it is only the post name. Okay, thanks both of you I was concerned about breaking a lot of links on my site.
