    Download and install this plugin https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/advanced-tinymce-button/ , the plugin will help you to generate short-code easily. When using the plugin, you need to select “Default Template with Download Count” to show download count. However here is the short-code:

    outstanding…working very perfect…thanks a lot..i was also wondering can before upload can i arrange (create folder and upload in the folder) all those audio files , coz i have to upload at least 50 peoples speech so i want to make for each person different folder , i am concerning “add media folder” when adding media for post or page. so that can copy the url from this folder and link with download.
    thanks again i think this is the best plugin from all those i have tested. giving you 10 start dude oops!sorry only 5 star available. ??

    You can upload all the files to /uploads/download-manager-files/ dir using ftp, then attach the files using server file browser when creating download post.
