Hi, I’m completely freaking out. I’m not exactly sure what I did wrong. I was editing function.php because that’s what it said in the “customize header” section of my theme, but I must have done something wrong and now I can’t access my site at all. I have no idea what to do, and I just spent over 50 hours building it.

Whatever help you can offer would be tremendous. I’m really desperate as the website is meant to go live tomorrow.

You’re okay. Just use your FTP client or the file manager in your hosts control panel to either repair that file or replace it with your backup copy – or a new copy from a fresh download of whatever theme you’re editing.

Thank you so much! The FTP editor is the way to go. Really appreciate the advice!

    You’re welcome!
