I wish this was part of WordPress

It would have saved me so many annoyances and so much time, THIS is how it should be — make a copy of your live site (effortlessly!), reconfigure to your heart’s content, transfer it back — effortlessly!

Now, it doesn’t work on all servers — but even though that’s a fairly serious flaw, I’m still giving it five stars because of how brilliantly easy it makes things when it *does* work. What this plugin does, is fix the truly terrible native import/export functionality provided with WP.

The only thing that would make it more awesome would be if you could select whether to copy the content or not, so it would be easier to restore from a dev site to a live site without overwriting any changes in the interim.

But I’m not complaining! This plugin lets me move WP sites by clicking my mouse a few times. That in itself is amazing.
