• I would like to start a www.ads-software.com blog on a Linux server non wordpress site. I have read a few forums regarding Yoast SEO Premium and it appears to be problematic with Linux. Any advice to start a successful wordpress blog on the Linux platform non wordpress site. I hope and thank you in advance for any advice.

    I don’t understand the question….

do you mean you already have a Linux host running a website and you want to add a WordPress blog? That would be easy — create a /blog/ directory on that site and install WordPress in it.

And what does Yoast have to do with anything?

Hello Steven Yes I have a Linux host running a website and would like to add a Word Press Blog. Now not being a developer do I understand that Yoast SEO is a good way to go for SEO optimization blogs? I’m looking for guidance here on setting this up. I am not a novice but I will do exactly what you recommend and set up the /blog/directory. Just what is Yoast anyway, third party software?

Thank you for your input Steven, very much appreciated!!

    Yoast: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wordpress-seo

Install WordPress in a subdirectory of your existing website.
