Hi, so I’m trying to get rid of those i0.wp.com on images. From what I understand, these links are created due to the Photon. Even after you deactivate it, the effect will only take place for pictures uploaded after the Photon is turned off, UNLESS you upload pictures with a new name. Furthermore, if you use tiled galleries, the images will also use the i0.wp.com image links.

So in other words, you can get remove i0.wp.com links by turning off Photon AND Tiled galleries.

My question is: Is there a way to remove i0.wp.com links without turning off Tiled galleries?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi there!

The Tiled Galleries depends on Photon functionality to resize the images, so no, you can’t get rid of Photon links on the Tiled Galleries. However, you can get rid of them on the rest of your site by turning off the photon module.

May I ask why you want to get rid of the Photonized links?

Thanks for clarifying this, Confused ABC. I have been pulling my hair out trying to figure out why I am still getting the i0.wp.com links on images with Photon turned off.

To answer Richard’s question for you, I prefer to keep things simple. I certainly don’t want to have to rename all of my uploaded photos in the future if I decide to keep things in-house and not use Photon.

because photonized links show like this
