• Hi,

I have seen that in the latest version, you have changed the the strings from “All events” to “All %s” and patching events into it. This, IMHO, is very bad from a translator’s perspective – because it sneaks assumptions of the english language into the string that should be working in all languages. For example, the French word for “All” is “tous les” or “toutes les” depending on whether the following word is male or female.

Under views/widgets/list-widget.php, we have the string ‘There are no upcoming %s at this time.’ with a strtolower of ‘Event’. This works well in English but not in German (where all nouns have capitals: “Alle Veranstaltungen”). (As a workaround, you could do the contrary: ucfirst of ‘event’ if used at the beginning of the sentence.)
