ical / google subscription

  • We are using My Calendar on a school website and the ical subscription is great for parents. We are having a problem though if a parent tries to use the ical file for a google calendar import, which I think they should be able to do according to google calendars. The single event Google add works ok. Are we missing something in the setup?

    When a user tries to add(import) the downloaded iCal file to their Google Calendar, They get an error message that the file is not a valid file.

    The file currently downloadable appears to be valid. Are you able to reproduce this issue personally, or is it only happening for other users?
