Plugin assumes one is usually intending to display events in the future from current time, not events for a fixed date and time. That said – parameters do exist to override default behaviour, you’ll have to play around with parameters and your calendar file. what works for you may depend on the events in your file.
NOTE: If you are targeting specific fixed events, and don’t need a dynamic update, you may be better off just cutting and pasting the events, or the html for them.

hours=14 means show 14 hours from current hour.

Read here – the section “How much to show and when to start ?”
    https://icalevents.com/support/documentation/shortcodes/#parameters

hours=n (will override months and days, and start from begin of current hour, so if you do not want events that have just passed to show, use this)
