iCal subscription plugin

I was wondering if anyone knew of a plugin out there that would allow you could subscribe to an .ics file on the internet and have it display recent and coming events in your sidebar in hCalendar format?
I am thinking of writing one, but wanted to make sure I wasn’t gonna do something someone else has already done.
