Icegram is not working on our site

Hi,

There is a javascript error ‘TypeError: $(…).live is not a function’ from ‘kayako/js/kayako.js’ file, which prevents the Icegram code execution.

Temporarily, deactivate Kayako plugin and check, Icegram message will appear.

If still the issue persist then please let us know.

We have investigated your site and found that you are using wordpress 4.5 and Divi theme.

Now older version of Divi theme has compatibility issue with wordpress 4.5, due to that it throws javascript error and it prevent the jQuery and icegram code execution.

To fix the javascript error you can update Divi theme with the latest version.

If somehow, you couldn’t update the theme; then you can follow our blog to fix it manually.

If still the issue persist then please let us know.

Thank you for your response! I deactivated the Kayako plugin and the pop up campaign appeared. Can you help me how do I fix this issue without deactivating Kayako since we need it on our site?

As we do not have any experience with Kayako plugin, So for quick fix, I would suggest you to contact Kayako plugin developer with support request because they know the features and functionality well of their plugin.
