  • Short codes do not work in the Archive Intro text sections. They can only work when embedded inside a post.

ok – but is there any way to use this plugin on category pages? It would be really helpful – some of us offer members only sections of our blogs and upon getting to that “category” it’d be great if we could integrate the icegram campaigns. Any suggestions rather then just saying it wont work?

    thx!

First of all “Archive Intro text sections” is not part of a post.
So any short code will not work with the “Archive Intro text sections”.
We are guessing that it is coming from some theme that you have used.

You can add Icegram’s short code in one of the post of that particular category and it will work on that category page.
But, whenever user will view that post Icegram campaign will run on that post.

    Hope this helps you.

Actually you can easily add the campaign to a category archive page using the Targeting Rules. Tick the check box ‘Specific URLs on this site’ and enter the url with a regex rule. Ex: https://mydomain.com/category/my-category/* Just replace mydomain.com with your domain name and ‘my-category’ with the category slug where you want the campaign to appear. Keep the end slash and asterisk.

If WP is installed in a sub-directory, then your url structure would look like ( https://mydomain.com/wp/category/my-category/* ) where, /wp/ is your sub-directory.
