    I am having a small conflict with the SSP icon again. When I am on my podcast pages with the SSP, the icons used by Salient Theme / FontAwesome are not displaying correctly – getting empty boxes.

    There was a similar issue that I had formerly that was resolved previously, see: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/fontawesome-gizmo-font-conflict/

    This has not been a high priority for me, but it has been around for a couple of months at least I believe. I will try looking into the root of this new problem a bit more and try to get some more info posted here in time.

    Hi there, thanks for the heads up on this. Thought we had this nailed with the previous release, but will take a closer look at the icon conflicts that might still be present.

    Just to confirm, are you running the most recent version of SSP?

    I am on the current version, 1.19.9 as of these posts.

    I am also still having this icon issue…also running the latest version.

    OK, thank you for the example post there for us to check out further. Will be getting a release together shortly that hopefully will resolve all of these icon conflicts.

    Hi,

    I’m still having this issues… https://infamouspodcast.com/thats-incredibles-2-a-review-episode-152/

    I’m fully up to date with my version of WordPress and the SSP plug-in (which is great by the way).

    Thanks!

    Brian

    Same problem exists for me as well for Version 1.19.11 | By Castos. To get around it I’m using Version 1.12.1 | By Hugh Lashbrooke. Ideally, I’d like to use the Castos version so I can use Stats.

    I have the same problem with Version 1.19.11. I have a small workaround for now (which I don’t like doing) but it only works for some icons and not all.

    .nav a [class^=icon-]:before,
    .nav a [class*=" icon-"]:before {
      font-family: FontAwesome, entypo !important;
    }

    Where the font-family is whatever your font is you’re using in your theme. I have been trying to get all the icons to work again but haven’t been able to.
