Icon Redirect?

Hello, I was wondering if it’s possible for me to use some code to direct a user to a certain page on my website.

Users are allowed to post news articles. When another user clicks the author’s name or their profile picture, I’d like it to send them to the author’s profile on buddypress. Instead, as it is now, it takes them to an archive page of all of the author’s articles.

Is this change possible?|
