FYI, Twitter has new logo and branding rules they are politely asking people to use.
I think there is some play that can be done with the logo, such as how the button looks now. But, you can email them at [email protected], show them a link to your picture and ask if it’s okay, and they will politely get back to you. It’s a great idea to have a good relationship with that department and they’ll be glad to hear from you, even if they kindly ask for some changes. They aren’t nazi-like, they just want the public to know what their brand genuinely is.
You might even show them the current logo and ask if you can use a similar “button over” style for their new logo. Tell them simply and in a few words and a real person will be happy you asked. I did, that’s how I know.
By staying up to date, people who use this plugin will be at the cutting edge and proud of that fact also.
