    Hi,
I just installed the plugin and it works fine. The only thing I noticed that it doesn’t seem to work as intended are the icons.
On my Android phone when I install the webapp the icon I get it’s the standard WordPress icon and not the one I uploaded.

    Thanks

  • Hi there,

Good day to you. The application icon and splash icon won’t get updated immediately once the website is viewed or the PWA is added earlier to the Homescreen.

As for seeing the image recently updated, you need to uninstall the PWA first and clear the browsing data to view the current image.

    Hope it will help you.

Thanks for the reply. You mean that it’s normal to get the wordpress icon instead of the custom icon?
    Thanks

If you visited the website before changing the Icon upon our Settings page after installing our plugin, you will get the WordPress Icon over the device, as that’s the default Icon which we used when installing our plugin (It’s because of the registration of a PWA’s file called manifest). Upon those cases as for removing the default logo upon the device (after uninstalling the PWA earlier added), you need to clear the browsing data to reflect the new image which you uploaded upon our settings page over the same device. New visitors to the website will only notice the image which you updated upon our settings page.

    Hope it helps you more.
