Icons don’t show in the posts

    I checked the settings, but plugin seems not to work neither in local or online. In both servers I’m updated to the last stable version. 1.1.1.
    I’ve tried different themes and different combination of settings in the plugin. Nothing seems to be working.

  • Hi, Luis!

    First, it’s worth making sure that:

    1. Your site is using a Genesis child theme. (You will see “This is a child theme of Genesis” at Appearance → Themes → [Click current active theme to see theme details].)
    2. You have configured the plugin settings at Genesis → Simple Share to show the share buttons on posts.

    If that does not help, do you have a link to a page where the buttons are missing, please?

    If the site is not public, please can you share a screenshot of:

    a. Your Genesis → Simple Share settings page.
    b. Any errors that appear in your browser’s JavaScript console when viewing a post.

    (You can upload screenshots to a service such as https://imgur.com/ and then post the links or embed images here with an img tag.)

    Of course, no problem.
    Yes, I only work with Genesis child themes.
    That is one of the posts where should be the buttons.

    I visited https://luiscolome.com/sustituir-el-titulo-del-sitio-por-codigo-html/ and I see share buttons there:

    Are you using a privacy or ad-blocking browser extension? Those can sometimes hide social buttons. It would be worth trying another browser or private browser window.
