    Hi Support,

The icons no longer show on the sidebar widget on our blog (same url with /blog at the end) or in the pop up that appears when a user reaches the end of our home page.

I’ve re-entered and saved all the settings, cleared the cache, tried other browsers … no luck.

Is there another solution besides re-installing? If I re-install, will I lose all my customizations? Can I revert to the older version of your plugin instead?

    Thanks for your help,

    Linda

Thanks Linda. Do you happen to use any plugin with lazyload functionality?

Wow, I’m always so impressed by how fast you respond!

No, I don’t – or at least I’m pretty sure I don’t. Never tried to install something like that.

Ok thanks Linda. We’ll check with the developers tomorrow in more detail.

Sounds like a plan. Will wait to hear back from you.

Thanks for trying to fix this for us. ??

Ok, it seems you do use lazyload, as part of the Smush plugin. Please uncheck the .png in the Smush plugin lazyload settings page.

Oh, sorry about not realizing that, Social Dude. You’re right: once I unchecked .png, the icons were back on home and blog. ??

One concern: now png images won’t be included in lazy loading, not a good thing.

Any chance your developers could correct this in a future update?

Thanks for getting this fixed for now,

Yes, the developers can fix it… the developers of the Smush plugin ?? They had many clients reporting those issues after they introduced this feature. We contacted them and asked them to make it compatible with our plugin too.

Wonderful! Don’t know how you keep up with SO many other plugins doing their updating, too. Anyway, sounds as if you’re already on top of this.

Should I send a note to Smush about the issue? As yet another squeaky wheel?

Again, I sure appreciate your level of support and responsiveness, not to mention how easy your plugin is to use!

Yes! Please be another squeaky wheel. You’re excellent at this ?? (just kidding of course!!)

Responsive, helpful AND a sense of humour, too. Perfect! And I’ll start nagging Smush right away.

Smush said they were aware of the issue and were working on it. So, we shall see.

If I hear anything further, I’ll post it here.

    Enjoy your weekend!!
