I have the settings to show the icons at the top center(floating) horizontal.

On desktop browsers, the icons show on the left vertical. On mobile devices, the icons don’t show at all.

    Everything shows as saved.

I have no caching plugins and the cache has been cleared on all browsers and devices I tested. None of the browsers have ad blockers.

Please advise on how to update.

    Thank you.

Thank you for your question. That’s strange. How many icons did you select should show per row?

Also, do you have a screenshot of your (horizontal) selection?

    Thread Starter mytowntravels

    (@mytowntravels)

10 per row is what I have selected. How do I send you a screenshot? I don’t see a place to upload an image.

    Thanks,

Ok, do you have the same issue if you try it with this plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/ultimate-social-media-plus/?

    Thread Starter mytowntravels

    (@mytowntravels)

I have installed it, and now my whole website crashed.

I deactivated and reactivated the new plugin you suggested. The website is stable again, but I don’t see any social media icons at all on any page now.

Ok that’s very unusual, that usually doesn’t happen. If you delete it again, is the website restored?

    Thread Starter mytowntravels

    (@mytowntravels)

Yes. Here is the message I get when it crashes:

Ok, so to confirm: your website is up again now?

    Thread Starter mytowntravels

    (@mytowntravels)

Yes, but the plugin is deactivated. It appeared to crash the desktop version of the site, but not the mobile. I have tried re-activating the plugin twice and each time I do, it crashes the site.

    Plugin Support Nick

    (@d4d5bh6)

Ok, that’s strange indeed. Let’s wait for the developers next week, maybe they have an idea.

    Thread Starter mytowntravels

    (@mytowntravels)

Any Updates from the developers yet? Thanks.

    (@d4d5bh6)

Sorry for not notifying you – we released a new plugin version. Could you please update it and let us know if the issue persists?

    Thread Starter mytowntravels

    (@mytowntravels)

The plugin is no longer crashing the site.

The icons are now visible on both desktop and mobile devices. However, the icons are supposed to auto shuffle every 10 seconds in the top left corner, 55px from the top so the menu bar doesn’t cover them. Instead, the icons are not shuffling, they are still covered by the menu bar and they are centered at the top, not at the left side.

    (@d4d5bh6)

Ok good that it doesn’t crash your site anymore. For your new question, could you please open a new support thread here https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/ultimate-social-media-icons? So that there is only one issue per thread. Thank you!

    Thread Starter mytowntravels

    (@mytowntravels)

It isn’t really a new question, it is the original question that still remains. Icons are not where they are supposed to be. Can we go back to figuring out why my original question is still happening?

I found that when I activate the plugin on the network, it works fine on the primary domain now for both desktop and mobile. But on the two subdomains, I get this error:

Warning: Trying to access array offset on value of type bool in /home/mytowntr/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-social-media-plus/libs/sfsi_Init_JqueryCss.php on line 92

If I deactivate the plugin on the network and activate it on each of the domains separately, the icons don’t show up on desktop or mobile still. Not sure if this is tied to the update or not, but this is still directly related to my original issue.

    Thread Starter mytowntravels

    (@mytowntravels)

Just following up- did you get this last message? Same problem is persisting On the subdomains of my site.
