Icons not showing on the blog page

I am using Genesis theme and on the “blog” template page where the post excerpts are shown the share icons are not showing. I have enabled the share buttons for all the pages but it seems the blog page is not included.

Should I try to add the share buttons manually to the file, if so, what is the code I need to add.?

Also, if I want to the icons to show “on top and below” for blog post, and only “on top” for category pages, is that possible to do?
