Icons on new post not working, can't upload media on 3.5

  • I have a new installation (www.catleephoto,com). In the new post screen the icons for the text editor do not show up. The header bar is there with no icons. When I hover over the bar, blank squares show up. Also the new media up loader will show a blank square where the image should be. I have another site (www.offgridok.com) with same theme and 3.5 that is working fine. Have tried disabling the plug ins to no avail. Cannot understand why one site works fine and other doesn’t. Any help is appreciated. Thank You Jim Lee

    The Firefox browser showed a square with a torn paper in it. The Chrome browser showed the picture on line. The icons on the text editor still don’t show up in either browser. I tried the fix mentioned with no change so I took the line back out of my wp-config.php folder. I am at a loss to explain this as my other site works great in both browsers and I like the new media up loader.

    This is what you need to run.
    Firefox
    1. Open the Console
    Go to the screen where you are experiencing the error. In Firefox, navigate to Tools > Web Developer > Error Console
    2. Identify the Error
    The error console will open. If you don’t see any errors try reloading the page. The error may be generated when the page loads.
    The console will provide you with the error type, the location of the error and the line number

    Line: 1. I have opened the editor to the line specified however it is way over my head as to know what is wrong with this line or how to repair it.
    Would it work to compare it with the same file on my other site (since it is working) and make them identical?

    Are both sites the same as far as theme, plugins, etc.? If so you can copy the colors-classic.min.css from the working site to the broken site. BTW, when you copy over or edit file always keep a back up of the original.

    The sites have some difference in the plugins, theme is same for now,will deactivating all plugins on both sites render them same? By the way; Thank you very much for your help.

    It should depending on which plugins you have but I think you just need to copy and paste that css file.

    Transfered html from working sites folder to other sits…..no change. Now error console showing many, many errors.
