Icons only show up when moused over in Firefox

Are you still experiencing this issue? One possibility is that it’s running into an issue with the grayscale image filtering if you’re using the Elegant or Dark designs. If you provide a link to your site I can look for other potential causes.

Yes it is still happening, I am using the elegant design.

You’re missing one of the plugin files: floating-social-media-links/filters.svg. This file is used to create the grayscale filter in firefox. Re-install the plugin, or add this file with FTP and you should be good to go.

Then there’s a server configuration issue, see https://www.hairweftingstudio.com/wp-content/plugins/floating-social-media-links/filters.svg. Most likely your server needs settings tweaked to allow svg files.

added the mime type to the site, it now passes it through, but still no go on firefox

ok, looking into it more… if I turn the filter off in firefox the icons display faded, but not greyscale, so its almost as if FF can’t parse the svg…

the mimetype I have setup is I mage/svg+xml

got it… looks like I fat fingered images/svg+xml instead of image/svg+xml
