    Hi

    I am trying to use the plugin and set up the form with all the correct values from iContact. However, when I went to test it, it gives me this error:

    “ERROR: An error occurred in your email list submission. Please return to fix the following errors:
    – Your email address is not formatted properly<< go back >> “

    Any ideas on how to fix this? I saw that someone else had a similar issues a few days back but it was inconclusive…?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    This is what iContact shows:

    ” <input type=”hidden” name=”listid” value=”226486“>
    <input type=”hidden” name=”specialid:226486” value=”SUFC”>

    <input type=”hidden” name=”clientid” value=”360600“>
    <input type=”hidden” name=”formid” value=”15695″>
    <input type=”hidden” name=”reallistid” value=”1″>
    <input type=”hidden” name=”doubleopt” value=”0″>

    The ones that I have bolded are the ones to use, correct?

  • Hi pmco,

    almost correct. Your list ID is 226486, your special ID is SUFC, and your client ID is 360600.

    Can you confirm these values are added correctly to Optin Forms?

    Let me know!

    Another question- is there a way to add first name and last name separately? It does not seem to work when they add it in one field for name.

    Hi pmco,

    glad we fixed that ??

    At this time, Optin Forms supports first name only. Alternatively, you could use that field to collect both the first and the last name ??

    People can still put full name but it populates only the first name in iContact. And adds some random letter as last name. How do we fix that?

    Yes, the name field in Optin Forms is connected to iContact’s first name field. The best thing would be to instruct your visitors to input their first name.

    Adding additional fields will require additional coding.
