.ics exporter – UID Field and RRULE field?

I am trying to use a .ics feed from Events Manager in https://www.burbio.com . Burbio is a very popular online multi calendar integration platform. All the local organizations (libraries, schools, businesses) put their .ics feed in their Burbio calendar and users can configure their own personal online calendar based on those feeds. The Events Manager .ics adds the events in Burbio.com, but there is an issue with notifications of new events. I’ve contacted the developers of Burbio and they are interested in having Events Manager fully functional with their system. After a number of tests, here are their questions. They are all interrelated, so I hope it’s OK to list several questions.
1. Do you use a
UIDfield for each event in the ics file?
2. Is theUIDfield consistent for each event between exports?
3. If the UID is non-existent or inconsistent, is there another event field that is consistently unique?
4. Do you implement recurring events using the RRULE field?
5. Do your exported ics files include any fields or functionality that is not in the iCalendar spec?Thank you for your help!
